Mr. Novak's practice is concentrated primarily on commercial litigation in both Nevada and California courts that involves sureties, insurers, contractors and other individuals and business entities associated with the construction industry. Mr. Novak's legal experience extends considerably into the banking and financial services industries and entails contract law, entity formation, entity control, securities issuance, securities regulation, real property finance, and a variety of other business related matters.
Mr. Novak joined the Faux Law Group as an associate in April 2009. He had formerly worked in a reputable law firm located in San Francisco, California where his practice centered primarily on matters relating to transactional finance, securities law, and municipal law, all with regard to the financing of public works projects. Prior to working in San Francisco, he clerked in a prominent Las Vegas, Nevada law firm where he focused on commercial litigation matters relating to real property and land use law. Prior to law school Mr. Novak spent over 5 years working as a stock trader for the Wall Street firm Morgan Stanley.
